Centennial Project C&E Memorials

As a Centennial project we are trying to identify all monuments/memorials/cairns dedicated to C & E personnel. The intention is to create a photographic collage or display, using the National War Memorial and the National Peacekeeping Memorial as the centrepieces. The resulting display would be permanently exhibited in the C & E Museum. Since there is no known data bank of this nature we are relying on memory and personal records to compile the information. The list below is preliminary and incomplete, but it does include input from the Curator of the C & E Museum. We would appreciate any information from current and former members of the C & E community that would help to expand on this list.

C&E Memorials

Vimy Gate (Kingston) Memorial

Cairn dedicated by HRH The Princess Mary (behind Vimy Gate)

Recently rededicated RC Sigs cairn in Blandford, England

NWT&Y Radio System Cairn in Edmonton (?)

RCAF Memorial Gate in Clinton

The Radar Cairn in front of the C & E Museum

Centennial Cairn dedicated in 2003 by HRH The Princess Anne (at the C & E Museum)

Sigs Club Stone Cairn, 2004,  (at the C & E Museum).
